Scenic Roots is an original, daily, hourlong program of interviews and stories of people and events of interest to the Chattanooga, Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia audience of WUTC-FM, a National Public Radio affiliate. Hosted by its creator, Ray Bassett, Scenic Roots began airing in June 2019, and I began contributing bi-weekly segments on hiking and other local outdoor pursuits in July.
